Happy Birthday Ian & Cecilia

Ian's birthday celebration (24th Aug) with the family. I baked him a chocolate cake which they devoured down at great speed. It was a quiet celebration that day as Ian was away on a course for the whole day. Unbeknown to him, a surprise birthday was organised for him 2 days after his big day. It was such a well kept secret that even I started to wonder if it was going to happen. Did not dare tell the kids cos' past experience has taught me that keeping secrets is just too exciting a thing for them to handle. Anyway, Ian was most surprised and had a great time that day. Celia's birthday (27th Aug) started with the traditional breakfast in bed by the kids. And how do you like my birthday cake? I actually baked it myself. It was meant for Ian's surprise breakfast party, but I forgot all about it. Brain not working so well lately. Anyway, good things don't go to waste in my household. It became my cake. Very yummy too!

Now with both our birthdays out of the way, I can concentrate on the kid's starting with Sarah on 1st Sept. She will be having a party for her little friends. So lots of excitment in the air right now. Will post pictures from her party when it's over.
