Today Cecilia set off with Choy Leng on an important and partly joyfull assignment- shopping in Thailand (Udon Thani)! Now most girls Cs's age, when they hear the phrase 'shopping in Thailand', they go...'ooh, so nice' because they are thinking new hand bags; shoes and dresses. My darling wife is not the ordinary garden variety Singapore gal. She goes 'ooh so nice' when there are things to buy for the kids, the house and her darling husband! She is just awesome. But that's another story.

The assignment took all day- 7.30am till 5pm. They came back with a truck load of soap, mops, plastics and other home goodies. I asked Choy Leng how the trip went. She said 'your wife is a good shopper'. I said, but you good too right? Her reply was that of defeated Singapore woman, 'Cecilia beats me'!!!

Cc slept well knowing that Udon Thani was not far away....just across the fence.
